We recommend monthly self-examination of your skin and, if there is a marked change in a mole or the presence of a wound that does not heal, you should make an appointment urgently.
Your dermatologist will evaluate and remove, if necessary, the suspicious lesion.
Prevention is very important since more than 90% of skin tumors can be cured if detected and treated early.
Remove moles for aesthetic reasons
If the mole is benign but causes discomfort or discomfort due to its location, size or appearance, it may also be removed.
