Treatment with Toxin Injections
The treatment is performed in the office and consists of small injections into the treatment area. It is virtually painless and safe for patients, with no side effects.
After local anesthesia, the procedure is performed with an extremely fine needle through which a substance is injected that aims to block acetylcholine, which is responsible for activating the sweat glands, as it is the transmitter of nerve impulses between the cells of the nervous system (basically, it gives the “order” to sweat).
