MiraDry Treatment
The MiraDry procedure involves the safe and controlled heating of the layer between the skin and fat – where the sweat glands are located.
While the electromagnetic energy dissolves the glands, the device has a built-in cooling system that guarantees total comfort and safety during the treatment.
After one or two sessions, an average reduction of 80% in excessive sweating is achieved, with an inherent improvement in quality of life.
Contraindications
Almost everyone – men and women – who suffer from excessive sweating can benefit from this treatment.
There are few contraindications for MiraDry, including:
- People with a pacemaker or other type of electrical implant;
- Need for home oxygen therapy;
- Allergy to local anesthetic.
In these cases, you should consider another type of treatment and seek advice from your doctor.
