Rhinoplasty: Nose Surgery

Duration of surgery: On average 3 hours;

Recovery:

7 days until the stitches are removed;
2 weeks until the main edema and bruising disappear;
3 to 4 weeks until resuming physical activity.

Postoperative compression: internal and external nasal splint for 7 days;

Scars: In open rhinoplasty, which allows better visualization of the nasal structures and more extensive corrections, an incision is made in the nasal columella, which becomes largely invisible over time. In closed rhinoplasty, the incisions are entirely intranasal.
