Biography of Dr. Eduardo Lima
Surgeon Specialized in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery
Dr. Eduardo Lima da Costa is Graduated in Medicine, for the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (1996). He holds a Master's degree in Molecular Medicine IPATIMUP / FMUP (2004). He holds Professional Certificate No. 36888 from Order of Physicians.
Graduate Hospital Assistant in General Surgery – Esophageal-Gastro-Duodenal Pathology and Obesity (CHUSJ) is also a founding member of Center of High Differentiation in the Treatment of Obesity.
He currently assumes the role of Director of Integrated Responsibility Center (CRI) – Obesity of the University Hospital Center of S. João and is also a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Porto.
He is a member of IFSO – International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders.
