Biography of Dr. Larissa Lanzaro
Dr. Larissa Lanzaro holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) and holds Professional Certificate No. 63765 from Order of Physicians.
During her academic career, she distinguished herself for her dedication and leadership skills, having assumed the position of National Coordinator of Scientific and Research Exchanges for the National Association of Medical Students, through which she promoted internationalization and scientific development among medical students.
In the Specialty Access Exam, he obtained a grade of 96%.
Completed the General Training Internship at Braga Hospital, in 2018, and, between 2019 and 2025, completed the Specific Training Internship in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Gaia/Espinho Local Health Unit and in the Prelate's Hospital.
Throughout his specialization, he completed internships at leading national and international institutions, including:
- Universitair Ziekenhuis Leuven (Belgium) – Plastic Surgery and Microsurgery
- Portuguese Institute of Oncology of Porto – Plastic Surgery and Surgical Oncology

Yours scientific production is consistent and recognized, with 11 publications in prestigious international journals, such as Microsurgery, JPRAS Open and European Journal of Plastic Surgery, in the areas of microsurgical reconstruction, oncological surgery, and innovative techniques in reconstructive surgery. He also presented 43 papers at national and international scientific conferences.
Actively participating in the scientific community, he attended 33 national and international courses and meetings in the field of Plastic Surgery. He also invested in his training in Aesthetics, through the completion of several advanced courses in minimally invasive techniques, facial rejuvenation and non-surgical aesthetic procedures, consolidating a comprehensive practice that combines reconstructive excellence with aesthetic enhancement.
In the teaching field, she contributed to the training of new health professionals as a trainer and monitor in Microsurgery and Suture courses, in addition to having taught at the Piaget Institute and collaborated as a speaker in Anatomy classes at the University of Aveiro.
