What is the intimate biostimulator?
The intimate biostimulator is a minimally invasive treatment which aims to improve the quality of the skin and tissues of the female intimate area through the stimulation of collagen production. Biostimulants are biocompatible and resorbable substances that promote a progressive improvement in tissue firmness, elasticity and thickness.
This treatment is usually applied to the labia majora and is particularly suitable for in cases of sagging, loss of tone, weight loss and ageing of the intimate area. Unlike hyaluronic acid, the main function of the biostimulator is not to give immediate volume, but rather to promote gradual and natural tissue regeneration.
Several factors may lead to seeking this procedure:
- sagging and loss of firmness of the labia majora;
- thinning of the skin and loss of elasticity;
- changes related to ageing or the menopause;
- negative impact on self-esteem and intimate comfort.
The intimate biostimulator allows for a progressive, natural and lasting improvement of the intimate area, with results that evolve over time.
