Biography of Dr. Susana Corujeira
Pediatric Specialist
Graduated in Medicine from Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences from the University of Porto in 2007. She holds professional license number 47610 from Order of Physicians.
Completed specific training in Pediatrics node São João University Hospital Center.
Currently, he performs the functions of Pediatric Hospital Assistant at the São João University Hospital Center, being responsible for pediatric obesity consultation.
Since 2021 she has been a Guest Assistant on the Integrated Master's Degree in Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto.
She is the author and co-author of several scientific communications and publications.
It periodically holds scientific updating courses in the area of childhood obesity, namely the courses “Childhood Obesity: From Diagnosis to Treatment” and “An Etiological Approach to Obesity Management” in 2023 by SCOPE accredited by the World Obesity Federation.
He is a member of Nutrition Committee of the Portuguese Society of Pediatrics.
He belongs to several scientific societies, such as:
