Biography of Dr. Ana Isabel Moreira
Specialist in Aesthetic Dermatology and Venereology
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery for the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP) in 2003. She holds Professional License No. 42958 from Order of Physicians.
He was monitor of the Human Anatomy discipline, a course integrated into the 1st year of the Nutrition and Food Sciences Course at the University of Porto.
Completed specific training Dermatology and Venereology at the Hospital Center of Vila Nova de Gaia/Espinho.
During this period, he completed internships at reference centers, namely:
- Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore (USA), having dedicated himself to Aesthetic Dermatology, Cutaneous Oncology (sign screening) and Pediatric Dermatology.
- Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven (USA), where he focused on the area of Cutaneous Oncology.
- Dermatological Surgery Unit of the University of Coimbra Hospitals, having dedicated himself to Cutaneous Surgery.
With the aim of being permanently updated and learning new techniques, Dr. Ana Isabel Moreira attended several national and international courses.
In addition, it carried out 21 scientific publications and approximately 40 oral communications.
She is also a reviewer of scientific articles at the invitation of indexed international journals.

Currently, he works as a Hospital Assistant at the Vila Nova de Gaia/Espinho Hospital Center since 2011, being responsible for consulting Cutaneous Oncology, as well as Dermatologist in Porto, at Allure Clinic.
In addition to these contributions to his field of study and practice, he also practices private practice. He performs specialized diagnostic tests and treatments in the field of Aesthetic Dermatology.
